Schools Outreach Program


The Conservatorium has a programme operating in a number of schools on the Central Coast in which instrumental teachers from the Conservatorium attend the schools to conduct instrumental lessons for students in the school. These activities are part of the Conservatorium Outreach Programme.

E-Yang Liu
- brass - studied composition at the University of Sydney Conservatorium of Music, whilst there also having an interest in conducting and instrumental pedagogy .
He performed and toured with Sydney Conservatorium's 'Electric Jazz Orchestra' and in particular the Symphonic Wind Ensemble under a number of respected directors.
E-Yang also has a strong background on Orchestral, Concert and Brass Band music, performing with ensembles within the Central Coast Conservatorium and the community on the Central Coast and Sydney. He currently plays for the Royal Australian Navy New South Wales Detachment Band, while still expanding his skills in music direction.
