Flute Choir

Flute Choir was formed in 1998. It is a unique, exciting, musical and educational experience for all involved.
A variety of music modern through to classical is rehearsed and presented in concerts throughout the year. A flute choir enables a solo instrument in this case the flute, to be involved in an all flute ensemble, with the emphasis  being on tuning, pitch control, sight reading, posture and being the member of a wind section.

The Flute Choir provides the  opportunity to learn challenging repertoire and develop ensemble techniques in a stimulating environment. The Flute Choir performs regularly at the Conservatorium and community events.

Players of all ages are encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals: Monday 4.30-5.30pm
Director: Paul Curtis
