The Sydney Conservatorium presents
"Love and Fantasy"
Students from the Vocal Studies and
Opera Unit coordinated by the Chair,
Maree Ryan and featuring internationally renowned accompanist
David Miller AM.
Morgan Pearse (Baritone)
Morgan is now in his second year of study, on scholarship,
at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. A student of Maree Ryan, Morgan
earned
his AMus.A in 2006. Morgan has performed as a soloist for the
Brandenburg Orchestra,
Pacific Opera and the Schubert Society with associate artists,
Simon Kenway,
David Miller and Jane Rutter.
Most recently, he sang in the Petit Chor in the Sydney
Philharmonic / SSO collaboration
of the Berlioz Rom�o et Juliette conducted by maestro Charles
Dutoit.
Victoria Vallace (Mezzo Soprano)
Victoria is currently studying the Advanced Diploma of Opera
course at the Sydney
Conservatorium of Music and also under the vocal direction of
Maree Ryan.
In 2007 Victoria won the prestigious Joan Carden Award and as
part of her prize
performed as a soloist both in Saint Sa�ns� Christmas Oratorio and
Handel�s Messiah for the
Sydney University Graduate Choir and orchestra under the baton
of Mr Christopher Bowan.
In June of this year, Victoria performed in an elite chorus for
Sydney Philharmonics Romeo et Juliette under the baton of
Maestro Charles DeToix,
in the Sydney Opera House concert hall.
S aira
Luther (Soprano)
Saira is currently studying a Post Graduate Diploma in opera
at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She is a very experienced
performer in concerts and corporate events around Australia and
covered the role of �L�amour� in Victorian Opera�s production of
Orphee et Euridice in 2007
for Victorian State Opera conducted by Richard Gill.
In October 2008, Saira will be principal Soprano in a production
of Mozart�s Die Schautspieldirecktor.
