Mission Statement

To enable all, of any age or background, to acquire the skills involved in music performance and an informed appreciation of music, to benefit them in their careers or lifestyle.

Suzanne Borrett

Head of Program

Suzanne studied at the Conservatorium in Sydney with Richard Goldner, Harry Curby and Carl Pini. She was a member of the Elizabeth Trust Orchestra and worked with Sydney Symphony Orchestra before moving to London in 1975. In London she played with the major orchestras including the Philharmonia and Royal Philharmonic as well as chamber, opera and ballet orchestras. She also taught for many years for Inner London Education Authority. Suzanne returned to Australia in February 1994.

Suzanne is now Head of Program Strings at the Central Coast Conservatorium. She performs regularly in chamber music concerts, including Concertante Ensemble and Con Spirito.

She teaches violin and viola at Central Coast Conservatorium on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and runs the Saturday Morning Strings Program where she directs the Junior String Orchestra.
