Rodric White

Director for Jazz Ensemble and Little Big Band

A pianist / keyboardist who resides on the Central Coast, was a finalist in the 1999 National Australian Jazz Piano Competition & has two albums to his credit: "The Sea Of Tranquility" NEW 3192.2 (2006 Newmarket Music) & "New Jazz Directions" (1996 La Brava Music).  Rodric has performed with many of Australia's leading jazz musicians including Dale Barlow, James Morrison, George Golla, Don Burrows, Jonathan Zwartz, Andrew Dickeson, Tim Hopkins & Steve Hunter.

Rodric's initial interest in Jazz was developed through the Jazz Program at the NSW Conservatorium of Music in Sydney from which he graduated in 1987 majoring in Arranging, Jazz and Classical Piano. Rodric spent 2 years studying privately with legendary Sydney Jazz pianist, Bobby Gebert. Rodric performed as the featured solo pianist at the Manly International Jazz Festival throughout the 1990s and for the Central Coast Jazz Festival during the 1990s. Over the past 4 years (from 2005 to 2009), Rodric performed a broad range of musical styles and genres with International Musicians and Entertainers aboard the luxury ships of the Royal Caribbean & Princess Cruise Lines in Europe, Alaska, the USA, Canada & the Caribbean.
